It was studied the course of meiosis in interspecific wheat hybrids F1—F2 Triticum spelta L. w w Triticum aestivum L. It was discovered that simple and backcross hybrids F1—F2 had significantly more cells with violation of meiosis compared to the initial parental components. It was founded the greatest number of cells with impaired meiosis in ordinary hybrids of the first hybrid generation. It was shown that in the second generation of simple and backcross hybrids some stabilization of hybrid genomes occured, which revealed as significant reduction in the number of cells with disabilities.
