В условиях вегетационного опыта изучали онтогенетическую динамику интенсивности газообмена подфлагового и флагового листьев растений пшеницы мягкой озимой разных сортов. Выявлено, что максимальная интенсивность фотосинтеза подфлагового листа выше, чем флагового, но в период налива зерна резко уменьшается и ведущую роль в снабжении колоса ассимилятами начинает играть флаговый лист. Между содержанием азота во флаговом листе и интенсивностью фотосинтеза в период колошение—восковая спелость зерна существует линейная корреляционная связь. Определен нижний физиологический предел содержания азота в листе для фотосинтетической ассимиляции СО2, который составляет около 0,7 % массы сухого вещества. Показано, что интенсивность транспирации флагового листа в период налива зерна более стабильна, чем интенсивность фотосинтеза, что объясняется меньшей зависимостью устьичного аппарата от содержания азота в листе, которое постепенно снижается вследствие реутилизации этого элемента в зерно.
